The doctor Hassan al-Hariri died in Deraa al-Balad. In his death, he follows his seven children and wife who were killed when the regime dropped explosive barrels directly on his house in Busra al-Harir killing seven of his eight children on 2 August 2014. The sole survivor was Mansour, a three month old infant, and the youngest of Dr Hariri’s children. All of his martyred children were under 16. His house was completely destroyed. Three days after his family were killed by regime bombing he suffered a dangerous injury while visiting his destroyed house. He was moved to Jordan for treatment. Immediately after finishing his medical treatment in Jordan, Dr Hassan returned to Syria to continue his participation in the revolution. He insisted that he was willing to offer all that he had left for the revolution and the salvation of the Syrian people. He said that the blood of his seven children gave him the strength to continue in his struggle to ensure the story will not be repeated with the remaining children of Syria.
